Use it to serve sweets or simply enjoy it as an art object. The small black specks are natural iron particles contained in the raw glass—please enjoy them as part of the character of the piece. Though it has a soft, matte-like opaque surface, the glass reveals subtle translucency when held close. (This white appearance comes from countless tiny bubbles formed by fusing powdered clear glass.) The lettering is kiln-fired with enamel pigment, making it durable and resistant to peeling.
